At Peabody, we’re looking for hands-on, people-focused Estate Services Caretakers to help us keep our estates looking their best. From monitoring communal areas to making sure everything is spotless and welcoming, you’ll be the friendly face residents rely on. We currently have three full-time opportunities available to join our brilliant team: * 2 Mobile Caretakers (UK manual driving licence required) – one covering the Waltham Forest area, and one in North London * 1 Static Caretaker – based at the Pembury Estate (non drivers accepted) What your day might look like * Start with a quick lighting check – swap out any bulbs that need replacing. * Roll up your sleeves and get stuck into cleaning duties across your designated areas. * Work closely with your team and residents to keep things running smoothly and safely. What makes this role special You won’t be stuck behind a desk – you’ll be out on site five days a week, making a real difference. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values your input and gives you the tools to succeed, including a company van. And here’s a little extra: once you’ve passed your settling-in period, you can refer friends to any of our roles at Peabody and receive £250 in vouchers when they pass 6 months in employment! We’re looking for individuals who: * Have a full, clean UK driving licence (not required for the Pembury Estate role). * Brings experience in caretaking or cleaning. * Knows their way around powered equipment. * Loves helping people and takes pride in their work. This role will require a Basic DBS check and a full UK Driving Licence (for mobile roles only).
