The vacancy

Please note we have 3 positions available. As a Building Safety Manager at Peabody, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our high-rise residential buildings. With a strong focus on the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022, you’ll manage building safety risks, implement robust reporting systems, and work collaboratively across teams to drive continuous improvement. This role requires a strong background in fire safety, structural engineering, or building surveying, alongside the ability to manage safety inspections and engage effectively with residents and regulators. You’ll operate with a fair degree of autonomy, often working alone, and your geographical patch will require some travel across Peabody’s asset portfolio, including mandatory team office days.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as a key point of contact for building safety matters, ensuring compliance.
  • Prepare Safety Case Reports, maintaining the Golden Thread of information, and managing Mandatory Occurrence Reporting (MOR).
  • Assess and manage fire and structural safety risks, conduct inspections and audits, and collaborate with internal teams and external regulators to implement remedial actions.
