As the Asset Data & Insight Manager at Peabody, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of asset management through the power of data. Combining your expertise in social housing, construction, and analytics, you’ll drive smarter decision‑making and continuous improvement across our asset portfolio. Working closely with the Head of Asset Data & Programming, you’ll lead the charge in elevating data quality, unlocking insight from complex datasets, and turning that insight into tangible improvements. From maintaining best‑in‑class reporting standards to identifying and delivering strategic enhancements, you’ll help ensure our data works harder, so we can deliver better homes and services for our residents.
What You’ll Do
- Manage our Asset Information Officers effectively so that they can respond to requests for Asset Information that are received from across the business.
- Lead on enhancing our Asset Data quality by identifying and highlighting opportunities to improve our data collection methods for relevant datasets.
- Undertake analysis of both new and existing data sets, applying your knowledge and understanding to identify the ways in which they can be best utilised.
- Create and update records in key systems containing asset data by extracting, transforming (including cleansing) and loading data as appropriate to ensure high standards of data quality.
- Assist in the preparation of investment proposals by ensuring that baseline data, schedules of rates, etc. are well maintained and regularly updated.
- Create reporting outputs, dashboards, etc. as needed by engaging with key stakeholders to understand their needs and suggest appropriate metrics, including reporting for Statutory/Regulatory, KPI and other purposes.
- Maintain and enhance our existing processes by working with the Head of Asset Data & Programming to regularly review and improve our procedures, documentation and training resources.
- Help Peabody colleagues perform better together through collaboration by establishing and maintaining effective relationships with other individuals in teams and departments across the business.
What You’ll Need
- Experience within the Social Housing, Property, Local Authority or Construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of Asset Management principles.
- Previous experience using an Asset Management database is essential with MRI Asset preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of data systems, structures and analysis techniques.
- Advanced numeracy and IT skills with knowledge of Excel, PowerBI, SQL, etc.
- High level analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Previous experience of managing a team.
