What You’ll Do

As a Skills Trainer, you’ll:

  • Deliver high-quality training in eitherHousing(CIH) up to Level 5 and/ orLeadership & Management(L&M) up to Level 7.
  • Lead onapprenticeship programmeswithin your area of expertise.
  • Design and deliver engaging,inclusivesessions in classroom, online, and workplace settings.
  • Supportlearners through tutorials, assessments, and preparation for End Point Assessments.
  • Collaboratewith stakeholders to enhance learner engagement, retention, and achievement.

Who You Might Be

You might currently be:

  • Anapprenticeship assessorlooking to step into a more hands-on teaching role.
  • Ahousing professionalwith a passion for developing others and ready to share your expertise.
  • Atrainer or coachwith experience in one area (e.g., housing or L&M) and looking to expand into the other.
  • Someone who hasn’t yet delivered leadership development but iskeen to grow into this areawith the right support.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Has astrong housing background(ideally with CIH Level 5 or equivalent).
  • Holds aPELTS qualification(or equivalent teaching qualification), or is willing to work towards one.
  • Has experience deliveringapprenticeship standardsand understandsOFSTED frameworks.
  • Can confidently lead or is ready to grow into leadingleadership development programmes.
  • Is a great communicator, highly organised, and passionate about learner success.
