PE Global is currently recruiting for a Principal Tax for a contract role with a leading multinational client based in London (hybrid).
Responsibilities:
- Closely with the global Tax Team, keeping relevant team members updated on developments and assisting on global led projects
- Manager relevant cross functional stakeholders on tax matters
- Take ownership for planning opportunities and project manage implementation
- Review and approve direct and indirect tax payments
- Manage timely and accurate lodgement of tax returns
- Review monthly and quarterly accounting journals and reconciliations
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant tax experience.
- Experience working within a multinational company and/or a Big Four environment.
- Experience managing tax matters across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
- Professional accountancy qualification preferred (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Strong knowledge of EMEA direct and indirect taxation.
- Experience with corporate income tax, deferred tax and indirect tax accounting.
- Experience in tax compliance, including preparation, review and submission of tax returns.
- Experience with tax provisions and tax accounting under applicable accounting standards.
- Knowledge of tax audits, tax disputes and interactions with tax authorities.
- Experience analysing new tax legislation and assessing its business impact.
- Experience in tax planning, strategy development and implementation.
- Experience reviewing tax payments, accounting journals and reconciliations.
