PE Global is recruiting for an Electronic Manufacturing Technician to join our client's team at their main site in Stonehouse. This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity for a hands-on technician who enjoys working with electrical and electromechanical systems in a production environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for testing, fault finding, and repairing a range of electrical and electromechanical tools and systems. You will work closely with the production team, supporting the completion of manufacturing tasks including tool assembly, calibration, and testing. You will be part of a collaborative production environment alongside assemblers, Mechanical Manufacturing Technicians, and supervisors, ensuring tools meet quality and performance standards before delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Test electrical and electromechanical tools according to established procedures
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repair on electrical and electronic systems
- Support tool assembly, calibration, and functional testing with the production team
- Use MRP systems (SAP) to record and manage production and testing activities
- Maintain and repair the test equipment used in tool testing
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with quality and safety standards
- 35 hours per week
- 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Overtime may be available depending on business needs and production requirements (not guaranteed)
- Experience in electrical or electronic testing, repair, and fault finding
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Experience working with electromechanical systems or manufacturing tools
- Familiarity with MRP systems such as SAP is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a production team
