PE Global is currently recruiting for a Material Planner for a leading multi-national manufacturing client based in Stafford. This is an initial 12 month contract position working on site 5 days a week. Pay rate is £22.51ph PAYE or £30.55ph Umbrella. 37 hours a week. Mon – Thur 8am until 4.30pm; Fri – 8am until 1pm.
Please note our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in UK.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities:- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of parts to ensure timely availability across the Stafford facilities.
- Monitor and resolve parts shortages proactively to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Engage professionally with internal teams and suppliers via phone, email and TEAMS.
- Utilize MFGPRO, EE, MRC and other applicable applications/systems to manage inventory, track orders, and support planning activities.
- Ensure invoices submitted match the correct rates.
- Experienced in logistics and supply chain operations, with a proven ability to manage materials efficiently and support end-to-end supply processes.
- Understanding principles of Material Planning is essential.
- Experienced in logistics and supply chain operations advantageous.
- Knowledge of transportation would be good to have.
- 2 years experience minimum.
- Understanding of MRP systems and practices.
