Production Operator in Skelmersdale

PE Global is recruiting Line Operators for our manufacturing client in Skelmersdale.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, safety-focused production team on an initial 12-month contract, assembling components in a well-lit and clean manufacturing environment. Training will be provided, but candidates with a background in manufacturing are preferred.

Pay Rates:

• Day Shift: £12.96 per hour
• Shift Rate: £15.81 per hour
• Night Shift: £16.85 per hour
• FLT Days: £14.89 per hour

Overtime Rates:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:50am – 4:45pm
• Friday: 7:50am – 12:10pm
• Candidates must also have flexibility to work other shifts as required.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly and packing of components for production
• Maintaining quality and accuracy in all tasks
• Following production schedules and instructions
• Working in a safe and organised manner within the production area
• Reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors

Requirements:

• Ability to work shifts and adapt to changing workloads
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but training will be provided
• Good work ethic, organisation and flexibility
• Well-lit, clean, and safe production area
• No travel to other sites required

Additional Information:

• Forklift licence not required
• This site is outside the town centre, so own transport is highly desirable
• Candidates must have full right to live and work in the UK
