PE Global is currently recruiting for a Site Completion Engineer for a leading multi-national Energy technology client based in Norwich. This is a 3 months contract position. 4 days/week expected to be on site. Inside of IR35. Daily rate is £504.64 PAYE or £672.24 Umbrella. Start date ideally immediately.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities:
- Review contractual requirements applicable to Mechanical Completion with the support of Completion Manager.
- Review and understand the completion Process and set-up for the site.
- Identify the site MC activities for the project.
- Review lessons learnt from previous projects and relevant project plans (e.g SQP, SMP, Completion Plan).
- Review Contractor Quality Plans.
- Based on reviews and discussion with stakeholders identify and follow up risks and mitigations to ensure we fulfil Completion expectations.
- Educate site personnel in the completion system at site with the support of the completion manager.
- Execute and follow up the Quality Plans, master test plan and completion system status for site activities as required.
- Execute Site MC strategy/Plan for the project.
- Coordinate and manage the MC/QC activities towards the time schedule and the different contractual milestones.
- Support with Access for the site team to the PCS.
- Send notification for Inspections and compile required documents.
- Review the complete MC/Quality documentation provided for each Handover scope.
- Update the PCS with all the information required regarding MC activities.
- Weekly reporting of MC / Punch Items / Quality Records Status.
- Raise deviation in QIT.
Education/Experience:
- Capacity to communicate, result oriented, speed in execution, openness and listen to others.
- Previous Completion System experience required.
- Solid inspection background.
- Technical / engineering / quality management education – minimum bachelor’s degree.
- Power or energy industry experience.
- Track record and proven capability in Change Management, managing internal project/program in large and complex organization.
