PE Global is currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Finance Business Partner to join our medical client based in Shrewsbury. This role is an initial 6-month contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive financial management information and strategic financial advice to Group Management teams and budget holders.
- Lead on budget setting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting.
- Support the delivery of Cost Improvement Plans (CIPs) and ensure achievement of financial objectives.
- Produce accurate monthly financial reports, forecasts, and business performance reviews.
- Provide financial input into business cases, investment appraisals, and annual financial planning.
- Support commissioning and contracting processes through provision of relevant financial information.
- Manage and develop the Financial Management team, including appraisals and performance management.
- Present complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Support development and deployment of Oracle Financials and Service Line Reporting.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent recognised professional accountancy qualification).
- Significant experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Previous finance experience with knowledge of financial frameworks and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
- Experience preparing business cases and applying investment appraisal techniques.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Financials and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple Trust sites if required.
