PE Global is currently recruiting for 2 Field Service Engineers for a leading multi-national client who provides equipment for the oil and gas industry based in Sevenoaks. This is a permanent opportunity. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be home-based and travel to customer sites daily across the UK. A company car is provided along with additional company benefits.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities:
- You will utilise your technical expertise to calibrate, commission, and repair process weighing and measurement systems using F1 & M1 test weights, stamped flow meters, force calibration test rigs, and multi-function processors.
- You will also receive training to support the company’s full product range, including belt weighers and boiler leak detection systems, as well as specific calibration disciplines such as temperature, conductivity, pH, pressure, and magnet strength.
- Complete service reports and calibration certificates before leaving site.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE policies and procedures.
- Support assembly and testing at HQ as needed.
- Provide weekend cover (one in every three Saturdays).
- Collaborate with or support fellow engineers on joint service jobs.
- Travel and overnight stays across the UK as required.
Education/Experience:
- ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC preferred).
- Time-served engineer or equivalent hands-on field experience.
- Strong background in service/calibration of process weighing equipment.
- Proficient in fault finding on weighing systems.
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostics and calibration equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Comfortable working under pressure and independently.
- Effective communication and report-writing skills.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
