PE Global is recruiting a Sales & Marketing Capability Coordinator– Retail Customers for our multinational manufacturing client based in Desford. The role is an initial 24 month contract and the rate for this role is £25.34 PAYE or £34.70 Umbrella p/hour.
Please note PE Global cannot provide visa sponsorship for candidates. Every candidate who applies will need a visa to live and work within the UK for at least the next 24 months.
Responsibilities:
- Drive retail transformation by partnering with an assigned network of independent dealers across the EAME region, focusing on customers who own or operate 1–5 construction machines.
- Lead initiatives to increase machine sales, revenue, and market share in the retail segment.
- Develop, align, and execute dealer growth plans, including budgeting and strategic planning to expand retail sales.
- Consult with dealers on sales and marketing strategies, systems, and processes to improve customer engagement and conversion.
- Enhance the retail customer experience through both digital and physical channels, including recommending bundled solutions, training, and technology adoption.
- Support the development of dealer sales capabilities by identifying performance gaps and advising on coaching and training solutions.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce distribution costs, and streamline dealer operations.
- Lead and contribute to retail-focused projects at the dealer, regional, or global level, sharing best practices and driving consistent execution.
- Monitor dealer performance and support initiatives to meet sales targets, improve market coverage, and ensure profitable growth.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders and dealer partners to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor\’s degree required (business, marketing, or related discipline preferred).
- Ideally 2–3 years of experience in a commercial, dealer/distributor, or industrial/off-highway environment preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across a wide range of functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starting attitude; ability to work independently and think creatively to achieve business outcomes.
- Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables) and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to internal and external audiences.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the UK and Europe (approx. 25%).
- Comfortable working full-time onsite at the Desford location.
- Positive attitude and resilience in navigating ambiguity and change.
