PE Global is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Compliance Co-Ordinator role for an initial 24 month contract role with a leading multinational Machinery and Diesel Engine Manufacturing client based in Peterlee.
Job Purpose
The incumbent is required to coordinate compliance reviews across the supply chain department to confirm processes are in line with the procedural documents and corporate compliance processes. Process audits will be carried out and where there is a gap the incumbent will support the relative area to agree process improvements and timelines. The incumbent is required to work with the supply chain team to identify process improvements and co-ordinate projects from concept to completion with multiple department contribution. Projects will span across various departments and the incumbent will facilitate cross functional teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and develop supply chain procedural documents and propose appropriate changes where necessary targeting compliance and inventory effectiveness.
- Audit procedural documents across multiple departments.
- Audit process flow plans in all areas that impact inventory control.
- Produce and present compliance metrics.
- Acting as process expert for compliance and inventory related topics and process changes.
- At the forefront of delivering training and education across the supply chain on the topic of compliance and inventory effectiveness.
- Taking the lead in embracing a compliance culture throughout the supply chain.
Requirements
- Strong understanding and previous experience using common supply chain systems. SAP Advantages, Excel and PowerPoint at intermediate level.
- Ability to facilitate an improvement initiative by engaging with stakeholders and creating buy in.
- Must possess strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to drive common supply chain processes across multiple departments within a business division.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve complex problems.
- Manufacturing environment experience is required - Pharmaceutical or public sector would have transferable skills.
- Auditing experience.
- SOX compliance experience is highly desirable.
