PE Global is currently recruiting for a Supplier Tooling Governance Analyst for a leading multi-national manufacturing client based in Peterborough. This is an initial 6 months contract position based on site 5 days a week. The pay rate is £20.58ph PAYE or £27.93ph Umbrella.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities:
- This UK based role will provide essential operational and governance support for supplier‑held tooling activities across a global footprint.
- The position plays a key role in ensuring strong tooling governance, data accuracy, and compliance, while enabling senior procurement resources to focus on high value strategic initiatives that support suppliers, audits, and supply continuity.
- Respond to day-to-day queries in the Supplier Tooling Management System (STMS) in line with established support processes.
- Perform data validation, record maintenance, and follow‑up to ensure accurate tooling records.
- Monitor supplier‑held tooling information and proactively flag issues or risks.
- Draft, update, and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
- Maintain governance templates, reference materials, and tooling documentation.
- Assist with routine supplier inquiries related to tooling.
- Assist with data and evidence preparation for IAAS and internal audit activities.
Education/Experience:
- Purchasing background or strong procurement experience.
- Ideally 2-5 years experience in similar environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Finance, Operations or similar).
- Experience with timesheet/reporting systems or tracking tools.
- Working knowledge of supplier tooling concepts and governance.
- Logical, structured problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Comfort working across both administrative and technical tasks.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with tooling management systems.
- Experience supporting audit or compliance‑driven environments.
- Experience working with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
