PE Global is recruiting a Calibration Technician for our manufacturing client based in Peterborough. The role is an initial 12-month contract and the rate range for this role is £18.18 - £24.43 p/h.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine calibration of equipment and instruments.
- Identify and rectify any issues with the operation of equipment.
- Maintain calibration records and certifications.
- Ensure all calibration activities adhere to required standards and regulations.
- Communicate with team members and management about calibration schedules and results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of calibration work areas.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Calibration Technician.
- Technical understanding and proficiency in the use of precision measurement tools and instruments.
- Familiarity of calibration standards and procedures.
- Mathematical acumen for precise calculations and measurements.
- Problem-solving abilities to diagnose and correct any inaccuracies or malfunctions.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure precision in work undertaken.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
