PE Global is currently recruiting for 2 Plug and Abandonment / Intervention Engineers, for a leading multi-national technology client based in Mold, Wales.
Contract Duration: 4 to 6 months, initially
Location: Flexible, 1 or 2 weeks/month in client office in Mold, Wales
Availability: Immediate
Duties:
In charge of producing well programs and monitoring plug and abandonment operations
Duties of the role/Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed well programmes for plug and abandonment (P&A) and well intervention operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Monitor and support ongoing P&A operations, providing technical guidance to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution.
- Review well data, historical records, and technical documentation to develop appropriate operational plans.
- Liaise with offshore teams, drilling contractors, service providers, and other stakeholders to coordinate operational activities.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with HSE policies, regulatory requirements, and best industry practices.
- Track operational performance, identify issues, and recommend technical solutions to minimise downtime and operational risk.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, procedures, and end-of-well reports.
