PE Global is currently recruiting for a Clinical Support Specialist on behalf of a leading global healthcare and medical technology organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinically experienced healthcare professional to support hospital teams and contribute to projects focused on improving patient care within perioperative environments.
Location: Oxford (with travel to local hospital sites)
Contract: 6–12 Month Contract
Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Rate: £26.46 per Hour
The Role
Working within an Infection Prevention and Surgical Solutions team, you will visit hospitals across your designated territory, supporting both existing and new customers. The primary focus of the role will be to support Normothermia Assessment Projects within key healthcare accounts, assisting with clinical data collection and delivering education and training to theatre-based clinical teams. This is a field-based position that combines clinical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and education to help drive best practice and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of Normothermia Assessment Projects within key hospital accounts.
- Collect and record clinical data in hospital and theatre environments.
- Deliver training and educational sessions to theatre-based clinical teams.
- Provide clinical support to existing and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote best practice and patient care initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across hospital settings.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in line with relevant clinical, governance, and compliance requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Registered healthcare professional (e.g. Registered Nurse, Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), or equivalent).
- Current and recent theatre-based clinical experience.
- Strong clinical competence and knowledge within perioperative settings.
- Experience delivering education, training, or clinical support to healthcare professionals.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Preferred Experience
- Background as a Registered Nurse, ODP, or similar healthcare professional.
- Experience working within operating theatres and surgical environments.
- Previous experience supporting clinical projects, audits, or data collection activities would be advantageous.
