PE Global is recruiting for our pharmaceutical client based in London. The role is an initial 9-month contract and is hybrid. The rate for this role is between £30 and £50 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Migraine Medical Affairs Plan under the guidance of the Therapeutic Area Lead CNS.
- Ensure effective implementation of agreed medical tactics and share best practices across teams.
- Communicate complex scientific and therapy-related information credibly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with the external scientific community through peer-to-peer scientific exchange, research collaborations, publications, and educational activities.
- Develop and deliver country-specific medical educational programs, symposia, and expert input forums.
- Provide scientific and therapeutic training to internal teams, including the field force.
- Translate global medical strategies into actionable local tactics that improve patient outcomes and enhance access.
- Provide scientific and medical support to commercial teams and ensure compliance with promotional material review processes.
- Collect, analyze, and communicate actionable medical and scientific insights at the country level.
- Collaborate with Regulatory and cross-functional teams to address queries and ensure compliance.
- Contribute scientific input to digital initiatives and strategic planning activities.
- Demonstrate strong ethics and integrity by providing balanced, reliable, and non-promotional scientific information.
Requirements:
- MD, PhD in Health Sciences, PharmD, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Medical Advisor (or equivalent) within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience with the ABPI Code of Practice and UK pharmaceutical regulations.
- Experience within neurology/migraine is preferred.
- Proven ability to translate global strategies into local execution.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory, reimbursement, and clinical research frameworks.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland (approximately 1–3 times per year).
