PE Global is currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant for a leading multi-national energy technology client based in Glasgow. This is an initial 6 month contract position and candidates must be able to work on site 100% with visiting the Birmingham office occasionally (10%). Pay rate is – Market rate.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Assistant to support the HVDC Engineering team in the UK. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities:

  • Organize team meetings, events, and maintain accurate minutes of meetings.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for team members.
  • Support planning and coordination of internal and external training sessions.
  • Prepare and maintain team dashboards and reports.
  • Manage procurement of IT equipment, mobile devices, PPE, and other office needs.
  • Support onboarding activities for new starters.

Education/Experience:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in IT tools (e.g., MS Office, collaboration platforms).
