PE Global is recruiting an experienced Fitter (Tooling and Maintenance) for a 6-month contract with a leading manufacturing organisation based in Manchester. This role will involve the maintenance, refurbishment, assembly, and installation of mould tooling, alongside supporting production through machine and tooling set-ups. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, product quality, and production efficiency. Carry out maintenance and refurbishment of mould tools using manual machine tools including milling machines, lathes, and radial arm drills. Perform mould changes and machine set-ups as required. Interpret engineering drawings and suggest tooling improvements. Conduct basic equipment maintenance and support continuous improvement activities.
