PE Global is currently looking for a Finance Officer for a fixed term contract until the end of November with a well-established non-profit organisation based in Camberwell, London.
Job Responsibilities:
- Back fill for the finance team during implementation of the new finance system.
- Support the non-rents Finance Officer with payroll i.e. timesheet and expenses.
- Support the Management Accountant with month end activities.
- Work closely with budget holders, answering queries.
- Help the Head of Finance with preparatory work for monthly management accounts.
- Support the Finance Officers with accounts payable.
Requirements:
- Possess more than five years’ experience within a finance function managing high volume transactional activity with accuracy and compliance.
- Hold practical experience with recognised accounting systems, including but not limited to Xero and SAP, with the ability to operate such systems competently and responsibly.
- Demonstrate strong digital proficiency, advanced numerical capability, and an adaptable, solutions focused working approach.
- Show strong analytical skills and proven experience to provide effective strategic and operational business partnering.
- Display excellent interpersonal communication skills and consistently contribute positively within collaborative team environments.
- Have experience in performing effectively under pressure while prioritising tasks in accordance with organisational needs and deadlines.
