PE Global have partnered with a global animal health manufacturer, who are expanding their team at the site in Dundee, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent position.
About the Role
An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Technician. The Engineering Technician is responsible for carrying out tasks for performing planned maintenance and corrective maintenance repairs of equipment with the established processes and to the relevant GMP, Engineering and Health and Safety standards.
35 - 38K base pay, plus shift allowance and any OT. Reports to Engineering Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all technical tasks, on shift, in accordance with instructions, procedures, plant safety and GMP guidelines and support shift-based training with staff on equipment.
- Support all Environmental, Health and Safety requirements to ensure that maintenance activities are safely executed (e.g. Permits to Work, Risk Assessment, Incident Reporting, Safe Work Practice, COSHH).
- Provide preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance support for all equipment and auxiliary systems on site, while meeting the relevant standards and in accordance with the site maintenance processes.
- Have a good understanding of maintenance systems and engineering procedures and systems of work (e.g. CMMS).
- Complete all appropriate maintenance documentation (Electronic/paper), handovers and maintenance history logs whilst maintaining a clean working area.
- Investigate equipment failures and support activities necessary to improve equipment reliability.
- Comply with all local and global company policies including Quality frameworks and health, safety and environment (HSE) policies.
- Perform any other additional duties or serve in such other capacity as may be determined by Company management.
