PE Global is recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of a leading global engineering and technology organisation based in Barrow-in-Furness .

Rate: £35.00–£38.00 per hour PAYE Contract duration: 6-months, potential extension Hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days remote) 37.5-hour working week The Role As Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering engineering projects safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will provide engineering and project support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring customer requirements are met while driving continuous improvement.

This role would suit someone with a mechanical or engineering background who has experience coordinating engineering activities, managing stakeholders and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities Deliver engineering projects safely, accurately and within agreed timescales.

Coordinate project activities and provide engineering support to internal and external project teams.

Develop and maintain project service plans and supporting documentation.

Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements and engineering standards.

Participate in project planning, risk assessments and job hazard analyses.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve project execution.

Monitor project progress, resolve issues and communicate updates to key stakeholders.

Assist with project close-out activities, including preparation of final project reports and documentation.

Mentor and support colleagues where appropriate.

Work collaboratively with engineering, operations and project teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
