PE Global is recruiting an Electrical Repair Technician for our manufacturing client based in Desford, Leicester. The role is an initial 12-month contract and the rate range for this role is £19.76 - £27.06 p/h. This role is fully site based.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults with machines, within the repair areas and on the line when required.
- Fitment/rework and test of non-conformances raised during the assembly process.
- Follow documented dynamic risk assessments to perform safe and defect free assembly of parts and components, using various hand/power tools and lifting equipment provided in the work area.
- Read schematic drawings to identify possible root cause of varying faults.
- Follow and utilise principles of continuous improvement reporting, waste elimination and standard work.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as auto electrician ideally.
- Electrical diagnosis ability.
- Previous Electrical diagnosis across all products value streams.
- The ability to learn to read hydraulic and electrical schematic drawings.
- The ability to use hand/power tools and lifting equipment.
- Repair or service technician background.
- Must be willing to work a multi-shift pattern.
