PE Global is recruiting a Drug Safety Associate for our pharmaceutical client based in Westworks, London. The role is an initial 9-month contract with an ASAP start and the rate for this role is £35 per hour Umbrella.
Responsibilities
- Process, track, and manage adverse event (AE) reports across clinical trials, patient programs, literature, and spontaneous sources.
- Ensure accurate data entry and translation of reports into safety databases.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Submit required safety updates and reports (e.g., SUSARs, PSURs, DSURs) to health authorities.
- Support audits and inspections; assist with training materials and compliance reporting.
- Maintain databases and documentation systems related to pharmacovigilance activities.
- Monitor and interpret local safety regulations; ensure company adherence.
Requirements
- Experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety (ideally in clinical or post-marketing settings)
- Familiarity with safety databases (e.g., Argus, ARISg)
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., SAE, SUSAR)
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Scientific, pharmacy, or life sciences background preferred
