PE Global is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join a leading global manufacturing organisation on a 12-month contract basis.
Location: Desford, Leicestershire
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Rate: Β£19.83 per hour
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (flexibility available on start and finish times)
Working Pattern: Fully Onsite
Start Date: ASAP
The Opportunity
This role offers exposure to cutting-edge supply chain technologies and provides the chance to contribute directly to the rollout of a new ERP platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of a new ERP and supply chain planning system
- Coordinate and engage with suppliers throughout the project lifecycle
- Track supplier responses and ensure timely completion of project-related activities
- Act as a key communication link between suppliers and internal project teams
- Identify, escalate and help resolve project-related issues and risks
- Support process alignment and data readiness activities
- Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of project progress
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations and IT
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives following system implementation
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a supply chain, ERP, project support or stakeholder coordination role
- Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems, ideally within a supply chain environment
- Strong stakeholder management and supplier engagement skills
- Experience tracking activities, managing follow-ups and resolving issues
- Ability to work within structured, process-driven environments
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging stakeholders via phone, video calls and face-to-face interactions
- Proactive approach with strong organisational skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience within manufacturing, automotive, logistics, distribution, FMCG or retail supply chain environments
- Knowledge of SAP supply chain modules such as IBP, EWM or Digital Manufacturing
- Previous involvement in ERP implementation or transformation projects
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT or a related discipline
- SAP certification (advantageous but not essential)
