PE Global is recruiting a Contract Coordinator for our renewable energy client based in Birmingham. The role is an initial 6-month contract and the rate for this role is £14.80 p/hour. The role is hybrid with an office presence required in Birmingham once/twice a week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance on contract-related matters to project teams
- Develop and implement contract strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage the full commercial lifecycle of contracts, including payments, claims, variations, and risk management
- Identify contractual risks and opportunities and drive mitigation strategies
- Ensure accurate execution of contractual obligations across multiple projects
- Support negotiations alongside Legal teams, including dispute resolution where required
- Maintain commercial registers and ensure compliance with internal procedures
Requirements:
- Strong experience in commercial or contract management within engineering, energy, or infrastructure sectors
- Solid understanding of contract terms, claims, and risk management
- Ability to work independently and manage complex issues
- Experience collaborating with legal teams on negotiations and disputes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
