PE Global is currently recruiting for a Procurement Associate for a leading science-based technology company based in Bracknell. This is an initial 12 months contract position working 4 days on site and 1 day from home. Pay rate is up to £26.65 per hour depending on experience. Our client cannot assist with visa sponsorship; candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for regional professional services sub-categories
- Category management and negotiation
- Regional point of contact to key stakeholders
- Manage end to end procurement process for professional services
- Support stakeholders across EMEA with sourcing needs and supplier selection if required
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts (MSAs, SOWs)
- Manage supplier relationships including handling performance issues
- Work with the global team on category strategies and cost saving initiatives
- Be a general go-to for procurement support and advice (dealing with a lot of queries day to day sourcing related)
Education & Experience:
- 2+ years experience
- A-Level or Above – Degree level preferred
- Category management and negotiation expertise
- Knowledge of local regulations is a benefit
- Developing regional market insights and competitive landscape for key categories
- Proactive, solution oriented, good stakeholder management skills
- Experience in Indirect Procurement/Sourcing and Professional Services desirable
