PE Global is currently recruiting for a Neuroscience Associate for a 12 month contract role with a leading multinational Pharma client based in Bracknell. You will manage information flow and coordinate technical evaluations and contract documentation together with members of the Neuroscience TA and Corporate Business Development functions, and as appropriate communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with external partners and internal functions (legal etc) to manage agreements (Material Transfer, Confidentiality etc), ensuring policies are strictly adhered to and processes are smoothly executed.
  • Support detailed evaluation (diligence) of external opportunities – scheduling meetings, assisting subject matter experts, collating information, providing updates, generating reports and slide sets.
  • Record all relevant information into Search & Evaluation caseload management and reporting systems, leveraging AI as appropriate.
  • Propose areas for ongoing improvement, introduction of AI tools etc to the team processes and implement as appropriate.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in a scientific discipline related to the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience).
  • Previous experience of project management and/or data management within pharma setting or equivalent and of working in a matrix environment.
  • Higher degrees or certifications (e.g. M.Sc., Masters in Project Management, PMP).
  • Evidence of the strong interpersonal skills required to generate and maintain internal networks to support evaluation of new business opportunities.
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical business and the drug development process.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, attention to detail.
  • Flexible can-do attitude to respond quickly to fast moving initiatives and priorities and work effectively in a highly matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated maturity and judgement to work on sensitive and often highly confidential projects in full adherence to our policies.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
  • Familiarity with use of agentic and generative AI systems (Claude, Copilot, etc.) would be beneficial.
