PE Global is recruiting an operator for our oil and gas client based in Manchester. The role is an initial 6 months contract with possibility to extend/perm. The rate for this role is £14.78 per hour + shift allowance.

Shift Details:

  • Monday–Thursday: 06:00–14:00 | 14:00–22:00 | 22:00–06:00
  • Friday: 06:00–12:00 | 12:00–18:00

Shift Patterns: Rotating early & afternoon, permanent nights, or a mix of all three (to be discussed at interview)

Shift Allowance:

  • Early & Afternoon: +15%
  • Nights: +30%

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tube preparation (degreasing, blasting, bond application)
  • Stator moulding across autoclave, REP, and transfer moulding sections
  • Stator stamping, spraying, and dispatch duties
  • Completing relevant administration (e.g. route cards)
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas
  • Performing basic preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Contributing to quality and safety improvement initiatives
  • Adhering to all company Quality and HSE policies
  • Supporting wider team tasks as required
  • Occasional travel as needed

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Essential: Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Computer literacy
  • Manual handling, slinging, and lifting experience
  • Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) awareness
  • Strong teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Desirable: Experience in rubber injection or high-productivity manufacturing environments
  • GCSE English (or equivalent)
