This role will be based in Blyth, United Kingdom.

Mechanical Supervisor

This organisation is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to their clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe.

They specialise in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.

This organisation has grown to become the leading and most trusted company in the sector and is the only dedicated Data Centre delivery partner in Europe.

They are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.

They are pleased to announce that they are currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join the team.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out weekly toolbox talks.
  • Carry out weekly reports on progress and issues.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate site activities alongside other trades.
  • Prepare two weeks look ahead for upcoming works.
  • Ensure the labour requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements.
  • Ensuring the quality of the works is maintained at a high level.
  • Ensure that the Subcontractors are working as efficiently as possible.
  • Ensure that all variations and delays are notified to line manager.
  • Ensuring all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.
  • Ensuring all delivered materials are coordinated and stored in a safe and secure manner.
  • Ensuring all Subcontractors Plant and access equipment is certified and in good working condition.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical supervisor capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain good customer relationships with other contractors whilst working on sites.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems pertaining to data centre environment.
