PE Global is currently recruiting for a Meetings and Congress Associate for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Basingstoke. This is an initial 12 months contract position working 3 days on site in Basingstoke and 2 from home. Pay rate is between £15.26 and £20.35 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Act as consultant by providing project management expertise and direction to ensure successful delivery of meetings.
- Establish and maintain key strategic partnerships with Marketing, Medical, Sales, compliance, finance, procurement, and other functions that can facilitate cross functional work.
- Oversight of meeting operations across different teams with a project management approach focused on end customer experience.
- Support the meeting program through different systems and tools focused on meeting planning & contracting process.
- Comply with Global Standards on meetings and events interactions with external parties and all other relevant company policies and procedures.
- Lead innovative improvement projects across functions, within the hub to streamline the meetings process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant working experience.
- Fluent English needed - Verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and expertise using systems, applications or devices such as MS Office 365, SAP (Cvent and Salesforce would also be preferable).
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and/or meetings and events background.
- Ability to improve processes, products, and services.
- Be able to create impact at different levels: immediate peers and across teams.
