PE Global is currently recruiting for a Machine Operator for a leading science-based technology company based in Bangor, County Down. This is an initial 12 months contract position. Pay rate is Β£13.12 or Β£13.41 with FLT licence (training can be provided). Shifts depending on the role: 8Hr Shift - 39Hrs/Week β Mon-Thur (Days) 8am-4pm, Fri 8am-3pm then Mon-Thur (Evenings) 4pm-12midnight, Fri 3pm-10pm β Weekly Rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Operation of large-scale industrial machinery to defined instructions and operating procedures.
- Follow a production schedule, working within a small team/crew.
- Manufacture adhesive coated tapes for automotive, aerospace and industrial applications.
- Sets up machines, loads raw material into machines, manually operates machines, and unloads finished product from machine.
- Works from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures.
- Operator has control over product quality.
Qualifications / Education:
- Good mechanical aptitude and skills are required.
- Basic data entry and computer proficiency preferred.
- Working in a safe manner is number one priority.
- Reliable time keeping, working to your best ability and able to follow instructions.
- FLT licence preferred, but training can also be provided.
- Experience of working in a fast paced, quality focused manufacturing environment operating production equipment.
