The role involves joining an award-winning recruitment agency, PE Global, as a Recruitment Consultant in Sheffield/Chesterfield with hybrid working options available. This is an opportunity to join a growing team, working on active roles with existing clients.

Duties of the role include:

  • Dealing with contract opportunities across our Managed Service accounts, recruiting for leading multi-national clients.
  • Developing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
  • Sourcing candidates using various methods such as job portals, internal database, and social media platforms.
  • Screening candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings.
  • Involved in various stages of the recruitment process which includes scheduling candidate interviews, completing reference checks, and organising pre-employment medicals.
  • Account management of large-scale multinational clients.
  • Attending networking events as well as onsite client visits across the UK.
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of candidates and clients in the PE Global internal database.
  • Maintaining excellent levels of customer service, both with managers internally and candidates externally.
  • HR coordination of contractors including issuing contracts of employment, payroll/timesheet queries, and contract extensions.

The successful candidate should have experience in the following:

  • Previous contract recruitment experience within a recruitment agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of engineering recruitment, with a proven track record of successfully sourcing, engaging, and placing engineering talent.
  • A blend of account management and project recruitment.
  • Thrives in a target-driven, fast-paced working environment.
  • Knowledge of recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, data management/reporting techniques, and online resources e.g. Indeed, LinkedIn, and CV Library.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence on the phone when talking with decision makers, winning them over through a natural persuasive approach.
  • A positive, sociable individual who is not afraid of hard work.
