PE Global is currently recruiting for a Production Technician for a leading multi-national pharmaceutical client based in Milton Keynes. This is a contract role, initially for 12 months. Rates: £12.21 to £18.82 per hour PAYE, depending on experience.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities
- To perform all work in accordance with current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and local SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Perform the preparation and production of sterile products using aseptic techniques within a cleanroom environment.
- Conduct daily and routine environmental monitoring activities throughout the facility to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Raise deviations within the Quality Management System (QMS) and complete associated non-investigative records.
- Initiate and close Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) as required.
- Participate in COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) safety assessments and apply safe working practices at all times.
Education/Experience
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Background in a manufacturing setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proven ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prior experience working in graded cleanroom environments is desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- Demonstrated capability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
