PE Global is currently recruiting for a Machine Operator for a leading multi-national manufacturing client based in Skelmersdale. This is an initial 12 months contract position.
Hourly rate:
- £12.96 day shift
- £15.81 shift
- £16.85 night shift
- £14.89 FLT days
Working hours:
- Shift days: 7.50am – 4.45pm Mon to Thurs
- 7.50am to 12.10pm Friday
Training provided
Duties of the role/Responsibilities:
- General assembly/packing of components.
- Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
- Worker will operate production machines to perform operations or produce parts.
- Sets up machines, loads raw material into machines, manually operates machines, and unloads finished product from machine.
- Works from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures, which requires the application of some judgment and selectivity.
- Operator has control over product quality.
Education/Experience:
- No Forklift License required but it's nice to have.
- Background in manufacturing is preferred.
