PE Global is currently recruiting for a Line Operator for a leading multi‑national manufacturing client based in Skelmersdale. This is an initial 12 months contract position.
Hourly rate:
- £12.96 day shift
- £15.81 shift
- £16.85 night shift
- £14.89 FLT days
Working hours:
- Shift days: 38 hours – 6am to 2pm / 1.55pm to 10 pm Monday to Thursday
- 6am to 12pm, 10.55am to 4.35pm Friday
Training provided
Duties of the role/Responsibilities:
- General assembly/packing of components.
- Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
- Worker will operate production machines to perform operations or produce parts.
- Works from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures, which requires the application of some judgment and selectivity.
- Operator has control over product quality.
Education/Experience:
- No Forklift License required but nice to have.
- Background in manufacturing is preferred.
