PE Global is currently recruiting for a Programme Manager required for a multinational medical equipment manufacturing client based in Watford for an initial 12-month contract role – Hybrid model.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Global Transition Delivery plan (Roadmap and Programme Project Plan) ensuring key milestones are met and dependencies managed.
  • Mobilize GBS Change and PEX teams and support Service Delivery Teams to receive transitioning services.
  • Implement and lead the Global Delivery Governance structures and Planning Workshops.
  • Responsible for agreeing, developing and attaining transition delivery milestones in collaboration with internal Transformation Programme Leads (in Finance, IT, HR, and other) and external outsourcing partners.
  • Facilitate and lead the GBS Transition Managers Network with leadership in all four GBS locations.
  • Own the Global Programme RAID (risks, actions, issues, decisions) log and take action to mitigate risks.
  • Lead on identifying global dependencies and ensuring that they are managed successfully.
  • Govern the GBS Transition methodology and ensure it is effective and updated.
  • Act as point of contact between GBS and APEX Reporting to ensure compliance with wider SN delivery expectations.
  • Monitor the Transition staffing and financial plan to ensure it stays within the wider programme business case.
  • Manage costs and delivery resources.
  • Lead the establishment of the GBS Lift, Shift and Optimise and Transform transition methodologies by working in partnership with the Centre Transition Managers.
  • Manage relationship with Functional Transformation Programme Managers to ensure that dependencies are managed effectively.
  • Manage the reporting relationship between GBS Transitions and EPMO.
  • Manage delivery through SN Matrix accountabilities to embed GBS Operating models.
  • Act as the single point of contact and escalation for all Global delivery issues associated with transitioning services.
  • Ensure realistic expectations are maintained through effective stakeholder engagement and management.

Requirements:

  • Background in life science, manufacturing or other regulated sectors.
  • 5+ years experience of complex programme delivery.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office & MS Project.
  • Experience in Change management.
  • Experience in Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Experience managing full life cycle programmes.
  • Experience in senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Presentation and communication skills vital.
