PE Global is currently recruiting for a Material Handler for a leading multi-national manufacturing client based in Aycliffe. This is an initial 6 month contract position. Hourly rate: £14.59 + £3.08 shift premium (£17.67) 39 hours/week – on 3 shift rotation.
Responsibilities
- Experienced PIV driver will complete a range of tasks both inside and outside the site.
- Receives and reads customer order to identify items to be pulled and verifies stock availability.
- Fills customer orders in accordance with specifications on order form.
- Prepares items for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, and arranging for the transportation of products.
- Loads and unloads trucks, railway cars, or aircraft.
- Moves material within a warehouse or storage facility using material handling equipment.
- Enters product information into computer database.
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Education/Experience
- Experienced Licenced PIV driver (Reach, Counter balance, manrider), can do attitude, Flexible worker.
- SAP experience.
- Basic data entry and computer proficiency preferred.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- One to two years of related experience preferred.
