PE Global are currently recruiting for a QC Microbiology Technician for an initial 12 month contract role with a leading multinational pharma client based in Swindon.

  • To provide technical support to Scientist 2 and Senior Scientist including technician duties when required.
  • To test the microbiological properties of materials and products, to defined specifications, using defined methods and procedures in accordance with GLP.
  • To receive and report results on GLIMS.
  • To collect Environmental monitoring and water samples as required.
  • To update the batch tracker with Microbiology testing dates.
  • To conduct Growth Promotion testing of incoming goods.
  • To keep environmental monitoring tracking spreadsheets up to date including trending data and transcription checking.
  • To respond and escalate to OOS/ATR in accordance with relevant SOP’s.
  • To assist in gathering information for ATR/OOS/Method Deviation investigations.
  • To execute testing of validation protocols.
  • To keep records of all work in accordance with the requirements of GLP.

Requirements • Has a good level of literacy, numeracy and integrity. • Previous experience in GMP environment • Previous micro experience • Grads are welcome
