PE Global is currently recruiting for a Supplier Tooling Governance Analyst for a leading multi‑national manufacturing client based in Peterborough. This is an initial 6‑month contract position based on site 5 days a week. The pay rate is £20.58ph PAYE or £27.93ph Umbrella.

Responsibilities

  • This UK based role will provide essential operational and governance support for supplier‑held tooling activities across a global footprint.
  • The position plays a key role in ensuring strong tooling governance, data accuracy, and compliance, while enabling senior procurement resources to focus on high value strategic initiatives that support suppliers, audits, and supply continuity.
  • Respond to day‑to‑day queries in the Supplier Tooling Management System (STMS) in line with established support processes.
  • Perform data validation, record maintenance and follow‑up to ensure accurate tooling records.
  • Monitor supplier‑held tooling information and proactively flag issues or risks.
  • Draft, update and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
  • Maintain governance templates, reference materials and tooling documentation.
  • Assist with routine supplier inquiries related to tooling.
  • Assist with data and evidence preparation for IAAS and internal audit activities.

Education and Experience

  • Purchasing background or strong procurement experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Finance, Operations or similar).
  • Ideally 2‑5 years experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience with timesheet/reporting systems or tracking tools.
  • Working knowledge of supplier tooling concepts and governance.
  • Logical, structured problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Comfort working across both administrative and technical tasks.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with tooling management systems.
  • Experience supporting audit or compliance‑driven environments.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
