We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Charge Nurse to lead clinical operations within a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role is responsible for supporting operational excellence, ensuring patient safety, enhancing workflow efficiency, and providing leadership and mentorship to nursing staff within a fast-paced perioperative environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care, resolve complex clinical and operational issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily PACU team performance while providing leadership, mentorship, and clinical guidance to nursing staff.
  • Oversee patient recovery and post-anesthesia care to ensure safe, high-quality, and evidence-based nursing practices.
  • Address escalated clinical and operational concerns using strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
  • Support workflow optimization, staffing coordination, and effective resource utilization within the PACU environment.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, nursing performance metrics, and continuous service enhancement activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure
  • Clinical specialty certification preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably within PACU, perioperative, or critical care settings
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
  • Fluent English language skills; Arabic is an advantage
