PE Global is currently hiring a Gastroenterology Consultant in Saudi Arabia.
Job Purpose / Objective: The Consultant Gastroenterologist is responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care in the assessment, diagnosis, investigation, and management of gastrointestinal and related conditions. The role includes active participation in clinical governance, quality improvement, education, and adherence to medical ethics and regulatory standards. Arabic speaking is preferred for this requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned outpatient clinics and inpatient services as per approved schedules.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and ongoing care.
- Prescribe medications and provide appropriate therapeutic and diagnostic interventions within granted privileges.
- Perform approved diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans.
- Admit, review, monitor, and conduct daily rounds for patients under care.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation and authenticate records electronically.
- Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior medical staff.
Education & Qualifications:
- Qualifications Accepted: American Board, CCT (UK), CCST / CSCST, CESR (UK), Canadian Fellowship (RCPSC / CFPC / FRCPSC), New Zealand Fellowship, Australian Fellowship, French Board (DES / DESC / DIS), German Board (FACHARZT), Swedish Board.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a tertiary care setting.
- Subspecialty training is preferred.
Licensing & Certification:
- Board certification, fellowship, or equivalent in Gastroenterology.
- Valid professional license from the country of origin, acceptable to the relevant health authorities.
