We are looking for experienced and reliable Locum SHOs to support clinical teams across various hospital departments. The successful candidate will provide safe, effective and patient-centred care while working closely with Consultants, Registrars, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, examine and manage patients within the appropriate level of clinical competence.
- Take patient histories, perform clinical examinations and develop initial management plans.
- Request and review appropriate investigations.
- Prescribe medication safely and in accordance with local guidelines.
- Recognise deteriorating patients and escalate concerns promptly to senior clinicians.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical handovers and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and healthcare professionals.
- Work flexibly across different departments and multiple sites where required.
- Follow all relevant clinical governance, safeguarding, infection control and patient confidentiality requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised medical qualification.
- Current GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Relevant experience working at SHO level or equivalent.
- Good clinical, communication and teamwork skills.
- Appropriate mandatory training and occupational health clearance.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, nights and weekends where required.
