PE Global is currently recruiting for a Machine Operator for a leading multi-national Technology client based in Aycliffe. This is an initial 3 months contract position.
Pay rate: £18.38/hour PAYE, 39 hours per week. Hours between 8am & 8pm Mon-Fri – Flexibility with shift work.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities:
- Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
- Operates production machines to perform operations or produce parts.
- Sets up machines, loads raw material into machines, manually operates machines, and unloads finished product from machine.
- Works from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures, which requires the application of some judgment and selectivity.
- Has control over product quality.
Education/Experience:
- Flexibility with shift work.
- Good mechanical aptitude and skills are required.
- Basic data entry and computer proficiency preferred.
- Safety conscious, able to learn new tasks and take direction, work well as part of a team, ideally production and shift working experience.
- Similar manufacturing experience.
