About the role:

We are hiring motivated Support Workers with a strong background in mental health to join our dedicated team. You will assist a client at home and in the community in the Carlisle area of Cumbria on a 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 basis.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in understanding and supporting our client, learning about their goals, addressing challenges, and fostering effective communication to meet their specific needs. You will work collaboratively with family members, nurses, and other professionals, record care accurately, and report any concerns or changes promptly.

Promote independence, dignity, and respect at all times.

Working Hours:

  • Care is always needed, so a range of shifts will be available from Monday to Sunday - Day and night shifts available
  • 8am - 8pm / 8pm - 8am
  • Full time and Part time available

Requirements:

  • Compassionate and caring nature
  • Flexibility & reliability
  • Good communication skills
  • Driving licence holders are preferred but not essential
  • Previous mental health support experience is essential
