PE Global is recruiting on behalf of a leading global engineering and technology organisation for a Logistics Coordinator to join their Supply Chain team in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria.
Contract Details
- Location: Barrow in Furness, Cumbria
- Contract Duration: Initial 6-month contract
- Rate: £20 - £28 per hour
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:45
- Friday: 07:00 - 11:30
- Overtime: Available and paid at enhanced rates: 1.5x standard rate for weekdays and Saturdays, 2.0x standard rate for Sundays and public holidays
The Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting logistics and supply chain activities, ensuring the accurate processing of shipping documentation, maintaining SAP records, and coordinating effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage delivery documentation, including delivery notes, commercial invoices, and shipping paperwork.
- Process and maintain logistics data within SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business processes.
- Coordinate closely with Quality, Logistics, Warehouse, and Project Management teams to support operational requirements.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
