PE Global is currently recruiting for a HR Officer for a leading multi-national manufacturing client based in Peterlee. This is an initial 12 months contract position working on site 5 days a week. Monday to Thursday 8:00 am-4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am-12:30 pm. Pay rate is £18.73 per hour PAYE or £25.31 per hour Umbrella.
Please note: Our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in the UK.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities:
- Providing HR support to managers and employees and the HR team
- Advising on Company Policies and Procedures
- New employee onboarding
- Interact with and counsel all levels of management
- Recognition process co-ordination and support
- Work closely with managers and Occupational Health to monitor and manage employee absence
- Learning initiatives including supporting and attending STEM and Business Ambassador events
- Supporting employees and managers with general queries relating to systems
- Time and attendance support for employees and management in Workday
- Process documentation and standard worksheets
- Assisting employees with access and password reset problems
- Assisting employees with Workday benefit changes
- Various other human resources related tasks
