PE Global Group are currently looking for a Recruitment Manager – Renewables. We are seeking an experienced and driven recruitment leader to establish and oversee our Renewable Contract & Permanent Recruitment Department. This exciting and high-impact role offers the opportunity to build and scale a department that focuses on attracting top talent across the renewable energy sector.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for building and leading a team, driving business growth, and developing recruitment strategies for both contract and permanent roles across the renewable energy space (solar, wind, hydro, energy storage, and emerging technologies).
Duties of the role:
- Establish and develop the Renewable Recruitment Department, including recruiting, training, and managing a high-performing team.
- Develop and implement best-in-class recruitment processes for both contract and permanent roles.
- Drive business development efforts to expand client base, targeting key players in the renewable energy industry.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their recruitment needs for both short-term contract and long-term permanent hires.
- Develop bespoke workforce solutions for clients, including end-to-end recruitment services, contractor management, and talent mapping.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the renewable sector to inform recruitment strategies.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for both contract and permanent positions across all renewable energy sectors (wind, solar, hydro, etc.).
- Build and manage a comprehensive talent pool of qualified candidates with specialized expertise in renewable energy technologies, project management, engineering, and operations.
- Ensure a proactive, high-quality candidate pipeline for both immediate placements and long-term talent needs.
- Ensure recruitment and placement of contractors and permanent employees comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including labour, immigration, and tax requirements.
- Lead the financial management of the department, including setting and tracking budget targets, revenue generation, and profitability of both contract and permanent placements.
- Monitor departmental performance through KPIs, providing regular reports to senior management on recruitment activities, placement success, and revenue streams.
Education & Experience required:
- Proven Recruitment experience in renewable energy recruitment (contract and permanent), ideally within wind, solar, or energy storage sectors.
- Knowledge of global energy hubs and renewable energy markets, including Europe, North America, and APAC regions.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling a recruitment division or department.
- Strong network within the renewable energy industry, both with clients and candidates.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead a team in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
- Commercially astute with a proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
- Results-driven with the ability to implement strategic initiatives to meet business growth objectives.
- Experience with contractor management and workforce mobilisation in the renewable energy sector.
