PE Global is currently recruiting for an Operations Buyer for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Bathgate. This is a 12 month contract position. Weekly Hours 37 p/week Work Schedule Mon – Thu 9-5pm, Fri 9-4.30pm - after training, 1 day home office can be considered. Pay rate £15.00ph PAYE.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities:

  • Review, approvals, creation, and release of Indirect purchase orders to vendors for corporate spend aligned with multiple sites.
  • Work closely with the Global Procurement Organization (GPO), Financial Shared Services and Corporate purchase order stakeholders.
  • Accountable for supporting the Global Travel Category support function to include Inbox & traveller enquiry management, Invoice reviews and resolution, website / portal maintenance & providing reporting outputs.
  • Review and process corporate purchase orders ensuring full compliance with Procurement Policy & procedures.
  • Review and process CDA's (confidentiality agreements).
  • Work with the GPO to review & process contracts for approval via the company's Contract Management System ensuring compliance with the Contracting and Transactional Approval Policy.
  • Support sourcing activity for GPO project owners using RFQ/RFP/RFI/e-Auction digital tools and templates.
  • Integrate with GPO stakeholders and facilitate team meetings and contribute to team initiatives.
